Britt Bertolotti, Owner, E-RYT 200, RYT 500, Certified Baptiste Yoga Educator, YACEP

She began practicing yoga 10 years ago, but discovered Baptiste Yoga in 2014. She received her first 200 hour training in 2015 and has since completed three other trainings with Baptiste Yoga and is currently in their FIT to Lead Program—a year long leadership program and the highest programming you can complete with the Baptiste Institute. Britt has dreamed of opening up a yoga studio since her first Baptiste training in 2016 and is so excited to see that dream come to life and to bring this style to Gahanna, Ohio. She says, “This practice was life changing for me. It shifted my world in the most beautiful way. It’s not just about moving on your yoga mat, but how the practice happens off the mat and in your life. It is accessible to every body.” Outside of yoga, Britt loves coffee, running, teaching kids yoga and yoga outreach, kitchen dance parties with her kiddos and husband, and snuggling with her two Australian shepherds.

Kaitlyn McDowell, RYT 200

Kaitlyn began practicing yoga 10 years ago. Yoga became a big aspect of her life during medical school, when she noticed the power of yoga both on and off the mat; both inside the physical body, outside into the spiritual realm and in the spaces in between. A lifelong learner, Kaitlyn loves learning and growing through the study and teaching of yoga. A love of both science and art, she believes in interconnectedness among beings, spreading positive energy and sharing the light.

Melina Opacic, RYT 200

Melina began her yoga practice in 2014 on accident when a friend dragged her to a yoga retreat! She has been a yogi ever since. Melina received her 200HR yoga teacher certification with Marianne Wells Yoga School in Nosara Costa Rica. In addition to teaching yoga, she is a marketing student with a minor in fashion and retail studies at The Ohio State University. Melina is originally from Pittsburgh Pa, and when not teaching yoga or in school, you can find her hanging out with her dogs, trying new restaurants, or binge-watching reality tv shows. She says, “My favorite part about teaching yoga is being able to communicate all that I know about yoga, yet continuing to learn from each and every one of my students!”

Heather Hensley, RYT 200

Heather Hensley is a graduate of Yoga on High 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher Training with a focus in Vinyasa.  She stumbled upon hot yoga in 2011 and was immediately hooked.  She always thought she would complete a teacher training program as a way to expand her practice, but quickly realized this was a calling she wanted to share with the world.   Through the process, yoga became more than just the physical practice and has taught her so much about compassion for herself and others. Heather is a wife, mom to three boys, and a dog mom to two Vizsla's.  In her free time, she enjoys working out, watching movies and playing with her kids.
